Check in were easy, also check out. The bed were comfortable, and room has good temperature and you can control it. The bathroom are nice with plenty hot water. The tv is basic.

The customer service could do with improving.

Breakfast cost ten pounds if booked during check in. It has plenty of food available, but I did not see fried, boiled, and poached eggs. The lounge were available to work, so I can use it.

The room are basic, so it's what you expect from a budget hotel. It include air conditioning which I welcomes on a very warm day. Every thing in the room were well presented and spotlessly clean.

old room loud noise

the location suited my needs perfectly. it was near local amenities.

The room looked quite old. the bathroom looked like a plastic shell. I heard waste water whenever anyone above flushed. that was unpleasant, and the noise bothered me a lot.

The reception staff were friendly and very accommodating. The room I had included fresh, clean sheets, which i appreciated. The bed was comfortable so I slept well. Staff were very helpful with directions.

I could hear some noise from other guests at times.

The location is convenient, with the train station a short walk away. A nearby car park provides cheap parking at a reasonable cost. It is quite easy to find the hotel once you arrive.

Facilities

The hotel is modern and has tidy interiors with civilised amenities. Security measures seemed good and enhanced my sense of safety. Breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!).

cannabis smell insecure table

the staff was friendly.

the room i stayed in had a major issue. there was a strong smell of cannabis in the bedroom corridor, which really bothered me. the bedside table was also insecure, if i put a hot drink on it, it slid off.
